19 Inch TV vs 24 Inch TV | How Do You Decide?

March 8, 2022 by Jim Eddy

Are you trying to decide between a 19-inch and a 24-inch television? You’ve arrived at the right location. The distinctions between these two will be discussed in this article.

19 Inch TV vs 24 Inch TV – Differenciating

From the top left corner to the opposite bottom right corner, the difference between these two is 5′′ diagonally. Measuring the screen without taking into account the border. That means that the size of the Screen measured diagonally measures either 19 inch or 24 inch in the question you ask.

19 inch vs 24 inch tv

If they’re both TVs, they’ll likely have a coaxial cable input, HDMI inputs, and/or a VGA input.

If it’s a monitor, it won’t have a TV tuner, therefore there won’t be a coaxial cable input for using a cable directly, and you’ll probably only have one VGA input, one HDMI input, or both HDMI and DVI input.

Higher Resolution (more pixels, more picture elements on the screen) looks better on a very large screen, thus choose higher resolution, such as HDTV or 4K HDTV, if you want a crisper image. Because 4K resolution has a higher resolution, it produces a better image. The resolution difference isn’t significant on a small screen. You’ll notice a more visible difference between a smaller screen and a larger screen if you get closer to the screen. However, if the larger screen’s resolution is higher, the larger screen may appear fine, if not better.

However, the only difference between a 19 inch and a 24 inch TV is 5 inches in diagonal screen size, and larger screens are usually more expensive. It is dependent on your requirements. If you want to maintain your eyesight healthy while watching a larger screen for an extended period, you’ll need to keep a safe distance between your eyes and the screen.

So the simple answer is that a 24 inch TV has a somewhat larger screen and may be slightly more expensive than a 19 inch TV, but the difference is not significant. Aside from that, there are many TVs, such as LCDs, OLED displays, and QLED displays, among others.

Conclusion

The factors to consider while choosing between a 19-inch and a 24-inch television are outlined above. Hopefully, these will assist you in deciding which option is best for you.
