Reasons Behind PC Turns on but No Display or Beeps Error
The error may occur for a couple of reasons. These are-
- PC may not get monitor access. It is the most common reason indeed. Rearranging the connection is the primary solution of it. The monitor can also be faulty. Or the VGA connector cable may perish too.
- The RAM-related issue is one of the major reasons for occurring the error. It can be misplaced or perished. Whatever the reason, the first try to solve this error is to remove RAM from the motherboard and replace it properly into the slot.
- External or internal hardware can be the reason too. To find out the reason and solve it, you need to take some initiatives that I will describe below.
How to Fix PC Turns on but No Display or Beeps Error
Whatever the reason is, you can solve it by applying some fixes one after another. I will attach the fixes below. Before jumping into details, let’s have a glimpse at the list first.

Fix 1: Check the Monitor Access
If you do not see any display on your monitor, you will need to check the monitor access. To do so, disconnect and replug the power cable properly. Then, check the display.
If it does not work, you may try to set the monitor with another running PC. Then if you still face trouble, the problem will lead by the monitor for sure.
So take the monitor to the retailer when you have a warranty or repair it from the technician when no warranty exists. There is no need to clarify the other options.
On the other hand, it will be all good when the monitor works fine. Then you need to move to the next fix to resolve the issue.
Fix 2: Check the VGA Cable
In some cases, the problem may occur of the faulty VGA cable. So, when the monitor is ok, you will have to check the VGA cable. To do so, change the cable and try another one instead of it.
If you find the altered cable working, the VGA cable may be faulty. But, if the error still appears, you will need to try the other fixes to get rid of it.
Fix 3: Restart the PC Manually
At this stage, you have to restart the PC manually. To do so, press the power button of the PC for at least 10 seconds to restart it.
Then press the power button and observe the situation. If nothing happens, you will need to press the power button for 10 seconds again. And do it three times in a row.
If a blue screen appears, you have to run the PC in safe mode.
On the other hand, if nothing happens, the problem may occur for the hardware issue. So, to fix the error, you need to follow the below hardware fixes.
Fix 4: Reconnect the RAM
The error may occur for the faulty connection of RAM. So when no upper fixes work, you will have to reconnect the RAM in the slot. To do so, you need to follow the below steps.
Firstly, you have to turn off your computer. Here you need to do it manually by pressing the power button for a couple of seconds.
Next, bring out the RAM from the motherboard.
After that, replace RAM in the slots.

Fix 5: Disconnect Peripheral Hardware
Peripherals devices like a printer, scanners, mice, and so on can be the reason for the discussed error. You have to disconnect these devices and check the error.

If you see the display by doing this, the problem may remain behind the peripheral device.

Fix 6: Check-up PC Hardware
When none of the upper fixes resolve the error, you will have to apply this fix. It should be applied to the Graphics Card, Processor, and Motherboard. Here, you need to follow the below steps chronologically.
Step 1
Firstly, make the CPU dust-free. You can do it manually or use a vacuum cleaner. Then check the error, it will be good if the error vanishes. But in some cases, if it still appears, you need to move to the next step.
Step 2
Then you have to disconnect the Graphics Card from the motherboard. Clean the slot’s dust and power on the computer. If the PC display appears, Graphics Card will be faulty here.
But if the error still exists, you will have to move to step 3.
Step 3
Remove the processor and try another related working one. Then try to open the PC. If the display appears, it will indicate the faulty processor.
When it still does not work, you will have to follow the last step.
Step 4
If you still do not see any display, the error will appear because your motherboard is faulty. You need to take it to the technician and repair it. Or change it permanently.
